An injured sea turtle from The Florida Aquarium was taken to USF Health Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) for advanced diagnostic imaging and additional procedures. “Freud” was transferred to The Florida Aquarium from the state’s panhandle, where he was found floating and suffering from a possible tear in his lung. Unable to completely diagnose Freud’s condition without sophisticated advanced imaging, The Florida Aquarium is teaming up with the staff at the USF Health CAMLS facility to get a better look at his injuries and figure out the best course of action for his recovery.
