CAMLS education and training programs are designed using simulated environments and evidence-based, instructional design methodology and best practice with performance metrics. Combined with state-of-the-art technology, learners are able to practice in a safe environment and ultimately demonstrate the skills proficiency required for safe clinical practice and improved patient outcomes.
CAMLS 54-member staff trains an average of 30,000 domestic and international learners annually.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)
University of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) is also home to the University of South Florida Health Office of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), which administers most of the specialty continuing education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Education (ACCME) and 12 additional healthcare specialties, several with “commendation,” the highest level. CPD’s location at CAMLS compliments many client programs due to the seamless program integration within the Center and it is an attractive benefit to healthcare clients, healthcare associations and societies.
