The Neonatal Resuscitation ProgramA# (NRPA#) course conveys an evidence-based approach to the care of a newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Convey an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth
- Facilitate effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery
- Utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations and hands-on cased based simulation
- Incorporates debriefing that focuses on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

American Academy of Pediatrics
Everyone that takes NRP must go into American Academy of Pediatrics and set up your own personal account.
You must enroll and pay for NRP curriculum part one (https://www.aap.org/), complete the exam and e-simulation and print your completion certificate. Follow
the below pages to find out how to:
- Login or register
- Schedule 8th Edition NRP Provider Curriculum
- Complete the learning activities in Part 1, including the Exam
- Print Your Certificate of Completion – Make sure to bring this with you for Part 2
- After completing the online portion and receiving your certificate, please register and pay the $200.00 CAMLS fee to attend the CAMLS NRP course.
Please note that this does not include the cost for the online exam and test, this must be arranged and paid for separately.

Cancellation Policy
- All requests for cancellation, transfer or refunds much be received in writing to camlsoperations@usf.edu.
- For cancellation requests received at least 31 calendar days prior to the start of the activity, a refund will be provided minus a $75 administrative fee.
- Requests for a transfer to another course date at least 31 calendar days prior to the start of the activity will be honored with no additional fees. The new course date must be within 6 months of the original course date.
- No refunds or requests for transfer will be provided if cancellation is received within (and including) 30 calendar days of the start date of the course.
